Podium finish rewards Weydon School's exceptional GCSE results

The Parent Power league tables from The Times and Sunday Times provide the definitive ranking of Britain’s top schools. The round up of 2024 GCSE results, places Weydon School in Farnham 3rd in the country for ‘state secondary schools with no or new sixth forms’ and first for those within Surrey.

In 2024 an impressive 45.9% of all GCSE’s taken were graded 7-9, previously known as A/A*. This is against a national average of 22.6%.

Weydon Principal Jackie Sharman said “We are delighted with our GCSE results and so incredibly proud of the hard work and commitment of our students and staff.  I look forward to seeing what the future holds for our Class of 2024 students who really embraced all that Weydon has to offer.”

This accolade follows the news last month that Weydon is now featured in the Prestigious Good Schools Guide.
