Profile - Katy Hosie
When I started at Weydon I had no idea what career I wanted later in life. However, with a lot of hard work and the continual support and guidance from some excellent teachers, I left 5 years later with an idea and the skills and motivation to achieve it. Now I am not only a qualified doctor but have remained the closest of friends with other students I met along the way - thank you Weydon school!
After leaving Weydon I went onto college, attended Kings College London and completed my medical degree and intercalated BSc in 'Maternal and Fetal Health physiology'. I graduated as a doctor in 2011. This year I am undertaking a masters degree in 'Reproduction and Development' with the university of Bristol and will begin speciality training here later this year.
