Important Information About Admission Appeals
 
If your child has not been offered a place at our school, you have the right to appeal the decision to an independent panel.
 
Appeal Timeline:
 
  • Appeals cannot be heard until after the relevant closing date for applications has passed.
  • Appeals lodged after the deadline will be heard within 40 school days of the appeal deadline, or 30 school days from the date the appeal is lodged—whichever is later.
  • Appeals are not scheduled during school holidays, which may vary depending on the school.
  • You will be notified of your appeal hearing at least 10 school days in advance.
  • A copy of the school’s case will typically be sent to you one week before the hearing.
 
Submitting Further Evidence:
 
  • Any additional evidence you wish to present must be submitted by the deadline indicated in your appeal hearing notification letter.
  • Late evidence may not be considered during the appeal hearing.
 
In-Year Admission Appeals:
 
  • If you are appealing for an in-year admission, your appeal will be heard within 30 school days from the date your appeal is lodged.
