Weydon is delighted to welcome prospective students and their families as they begin exploring entry into Year 7 for September 2027.
Year 7 admissions - September 2027 - Key dates
1 September 2026: Applications open to apply for secondary school places.
16 September 2026: Weydon Open Evening from 4:00 - 7.30pm. A wonderful interactive evening for the whole family. Staff and students will be available to answer questions and student led tours will run throughout. No booking necessary.
8 October and 14 October: School in Action tours from 9am - 10.30am. This is a chance for parents and children to experience Weydon on a normal school day and see lessons taking place with a tour by one of our students.

31 October 2026: Deadline for applications for entry into Year 7 in September 2027 via your home local authority.
Early March 2027: Offers will be sent from your home Local Authority and your transition programme begins at Weydon to start in Year 7 September 2027.
15th March 2027: If you are a Surrey resident, you must accept or decline your school place by this date. Failure to do so may result in your offer being withdrawn. If you live outside of Surrey, your Local Authority may have different acceptance rules. Please follow their instructions.
Missed the deadline?
Should you miss the deadline of 31 October 2026, please contact your Home Local Authority to submit a late application.
Admissions Policy
Our Admissions policy is reviewed annually. Please read details of our Weydon Admissions Policy for September 2027 - August 2028, approved by the WMAT Trustees on 2 February 2026.
For September 2027 entry, Weydon School will offer 330 places. Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that names Weydon will be given priority, which means the number of available places may be reduced accordingly.
