Weydon School’s Icon-themed fundraiser raises £1541 for Children in Need

Weydon School has raised £1541.79 for Children in Need following its annual charity fundraiser.

Enthusiastically organised by the school’s student leaders and centred around the theme of ‘icons’, students and staff were invited to dress as their favourite icon or don a festive Christmas jumper. Lunchtime activities included popcorn and sweet treats, live music performances and a brilliantly choreographed dance routine.

A special mention must go to Head students Tom, Megan, Charlie, Martha, Eva and Bailey for their time, energy and enthusiasm in organising the event which played a key role in its success.

Weydon is proud of the effort and creativity shown by its students and staff and delighted to support such a worthwhile cause.
