Runners up in the National Reading Champions Quiz

Weydon celebrate 2nd place in the National Reading Champions Quiz, Southern Region. Competing as one of 27 schools, over 10 rounds of fiendishly challenging questions. 

Teams were made up of 4 students, all up to 14 years old and #teamweydon Lucy Kitley, Harrison Parsons, Elizabeth Humphreys and Luke Elithorn certainly demonstrated their incredible knowledge and obvious love of literature.

 

Run by National Literacy Trust and supported by ALCS, the NRCQ provides a fantastic opportunity for students to enjoy the challenge of a live virtual quiz with their peers against other schools in their region.
