‘Battle of the Bands’ success for Weydon students

‘Low Bridge’ are a band made up of 5 young musicians from Weydon School. The band took part in a Battle of the Bands competition held at Prior’s Field school in Godalming and won the right to perform at Guilfest ‘24.

Guilfest takes place over the weekend of June 29 and 30 at Stoke Park in Guildford and ‘Low Bridge’ will be taking to the stage on Saturday. For tickets and information on the event see www.guilfest.co.uk

The band consists of Eddie Lawrence as lead vocals and guitar, Josh Gilliam also on vocals and guitar, Charlie Ayton on bass, Jacob Cornwell on the keyboard and Ollie Monk on drums. Following their recent success, the band are looking to perform in the local area so look out for this group of talented young musicians.
